Our firm acted on behalf of the amicus (friend of the court) namely, the South African Medical Malpractice Lawyers’ Association, to assist the court in defining the powers of the Master of the High Court and the process of the establishment and administration of a trust on behalf of minors and/or mentally incapacitated individuals, also defining the power of trustees in disability trusts.
