Our firm represented the amicus (friend of the court) namely, the South African Medical Malpractice Lawyers’ Association, in an application where the State, inter alia, sought to limit execution against State assets once à judgment had been obtained against the State. We were successful in convincing the court that such execution should be allowed as provided for in the State Liability Act.
